Slovenian Tolar Enters Its Final Year

Ljubljana, 6 January - Slovenia has entered its last year with the Slovenian tolar (SIT) as legal tender. After the country has recently met the last convergence criteria by curbing inflation, it is clear that it is on course to introducing the euro with the onset of 2007.
