Cold Start to Talks on Social Agreement

Ljubljana, 9 January - Speaking after Monday's official start of talks on the 2006-2009 social agreement, the new reforms minister Joze P. Damijan said that the talks cannot take place if one side refuses to discuss certain issues. "That is not negotiating, that is blackmailing," he added in a reference to the unions' refusal to negotiate on flat tax.
