Social Democrats Seeking to Make Gains in Local Elections
Laško, 11 March - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are upbeat about the autumn local elections and expect a "solid result". The local elections will be an "excellent starting point for the assault to the top in 2008," SD leader Borut Pahor said after a meeting of the party's mayors in Lasko on Saturday.
