Astronaut Šega Visiting Slovenia

At the invitation of Slovene President Milan Kučan, US Astronaut of Slovene descent Ronald Šega is coming to a private visit to Slovenia on Monday. Šega is to stay in Slovenia until November 6.*** Astronaut Šega will meet Slovene President Kučan, State Secretary to the Defence Ministry Boris Žnidarič and Minister of Science and Technology Rado Bohinc as well as some distinguished Slovene scientists: Vice-President of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) Robert Blinc, President of the Slovene Space Initiative Drago Matek and Director of the Institute Jožef Štefan Danilo Zavratn. After the visit to the institute, Šega will also give a lecture there; he will later visit the Astronaut Club Vladimir M. Komarov; on Friday, he will give another lecture at the UNESCO Centre for Chemical Studies in Ljubljana.
