Amount of Snow This Year Above Average Yet Not Extreme

Ljubljana, 13 March - Although spring officially begins in two weeks time, winter is still very much present in Slovenia. Proof of this are the recent heavy snowfalls which caused problems not just on the road but even on the ski-slopes, particularly Kanin and Vogel, where the ski-lifts had to be dug out from under the snowdrifts.
