Ljubljana, 13 March - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 14 March:

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk will be taking part in a meeting of the EU's Economic and Financial Affairs Council, which is expected to prepare the groundwork for debates on the implementation of the Lisbon Strategy at the 23 March EU summit.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The energy policy green paper unveiled by the European Commission last week is to top the agenda of a session of the EU Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council. Slovenia is to be represented by the head of the energy directorate at the Economics Ministry Franc Zlahtic.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to travel to Sweden for a one-day visit. Accompanied by Slovenian managers, he is set to hold talks with his counterpart Thomasa Oestrosa and Swedish lawmakers.

SOFIA, Bulgaria - A delegation of the parliamentary foreign policy committee is to start a three-day visit to Bulgaria. Meetings with Parliament Speaker Georgi Pirinski, Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin and Europe Minister Meglena Kuneva are scheduled.

LJUBLJANA - The business daily Finance and the Ljubljana Stock Exchange are to stage the 13th Stock Market Focus. Round tables on investment opportunities abroad (3:40 PM) and the state of the Slovenian capital market in 2008 (6 PM) are scheduled. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is to begin its annual 14-day mission to Slovenia. The mission, led by Juan-Jose Fernandez-Ansola, will conduct a series of meetings with government officials and representatives of NGOs through 28 March.

LJUBLJANA - The national telco Telekom Slovenije is to present unaudited results for 2005 at a news conference scheduled for 10 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Craft Industries (OZS) is to stage a conference on R&D and innovativeness in small enterprises starting at 10 AM. Development Minister Joze P. Damijan is expected to take part.

LJUBLJANA - One of the country's smallest mobile operators, Debitel, is to stage a news conference at 4:30 PM to talk about the company's position in the mobile market.
