LJUBLJANA - At its weekly session the cabinet is scheduled to debate changes to the primary school act. A press conference is scheduled for after the session, expectedly at 2 PM. (STA/PHOTO)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Development Minister Joze P. Damijan is to meet Vice President of the European Commission Guenther Verheugen, who is in charge of the Lisbon Strategy, to present Slovenia's plans for structural reforms. Damijan will be accompanied by the national coordinator for the Lisbon Strategy, Janez Sustersic. The Slovenian officials are expected to address the press at 7:15 PM. (STA)
TRIESTE, Italy - The environmental groups Association of Ecological Movements of Slovenia, Association Green Istria from Croatia, and Legambiente of Italy are to present their stance on plans for a natural gas docking terminal in the Gulf of Trieste at a press conference scheduled for 2 PM.
VIENNA, Austria - EU education ministers are to hold an informal meeting. The meeting is to be discussed by Slovenian Education Minister Milan Zver and Minister of Higher Education and Science Jure Zupan.
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad, headed by chair Janez Kramberger, is to continue a multi-day visit to Argentina as part of a tour of South America. The Slovenian officials are to visit the Argentine parliament.
LJUBLJANA - The University of Ljubljana and the Jozef Stefan Institute are to sign an agreement on long-term cooperation between the two institutions at a ceremony scheduled for noon. (STA/PHOTO)
