Barrot: Member States Responsible for Infrastructure Projects

Ljubljana, 16 March - Responding to a letter by Slovenian MEP Jelko Kacin (ALDE) voicing scepticism over certain transport projects in Slovenia, European Transport Commissioner Jacques Barrot has said that securing adequate budget funds for such projects was foremost the responsibility of member states, the Slovenian opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) said on Thursday.
