Coalition Parties Call for Swiss-Type Referendum

Ljubljana, 17 March - The coalition parties have reached broad consensus on the amendments to the 1994 referendum and public initiative act, agreeing to substitute the current early legislative referendum with a Swiss-type legislative referendum, Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant has said.
