NICOSIA, Cyprus - President Janez Drnovsek is to start a two-day official visit to Cyprus to meet his Cypriot counterpart Tassos Papadopoulos and Parliament Speaker Demetris Christofias. Drnovsek and Papadopoulos are to talk to the press at 4:30 PM. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU transport ministers, including Slovenia's Janez Bozic, are to discuss the introduction of a uniform European driver's licence, and the amendments to the legislation on road traffic tolls for lorries on so-called eurovinjets.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan and the vice-chairman of the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) Jean-Pierre Le Roux are to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Slovenian ministry and the CEA. LJUBLJANA - Macedonian Local Government Minister Rizvan Sulejmani is to arrive for a three-day visit on the invitation of the Local Government and Regional Policy Minister Ivan Zagar. They are to focus on the reform of local government in Slovenia, the development of municipalities and the process of decentralisation. A press conference is scheduled for Tuesday.
LJUBLJANA - Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to receive the president of the Lions Club International, Ashok Mehta, and representatives of Slovenian Lions Clubs. At 11 AM.
VIENNA, Austria - The heads of the EU parliamentary foreign affairs committees, including Slovenia's Jozef Jerovsek, are to hold a meeting.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - A Slovenian parliamentary delegation is to attend a Euro-Mediterranean parliamentary assembly.
LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to begin its regular March session at 2 PM with a Q&A session. The busy monthly session ends on 4 April.
LJUBLJANA - Talks on social agreement are to resume with social partners focusing on the unresolved chapter of social dialogue, and public finance. The head of the government's negotiating team Dusan Krajnik is to give a statement after the meeting at 3:15 PM.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held at noon ahead of the 38th International PEN meeting in Bled, which is to take place between 29 March and 2 April in the organisation of the Slovenian PEN centre. (STA)
