Premier Peterle's letter to the Pope

Ljubljana, 5 May - President of the Slovenian government, Mr. Lojze Peterle, sent a letter to Pope John Paul the 2nd today, in which he acquaints the Pope with the difficulties Slovenia is meeting with the greater and greater number of refugees and stresses that our country has never forbidden the arrival of refugees nor will it do so, but that the problem of refugees is exceeding the capabilities of Slovenia.
