Kučan: Serbian policies will not avoid responsibility

Ljubljana, 5 May - The President of the Presidency of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Milan Kučan stated today, in an interview for Radio Slovenia, that the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina could once again spread to Slovenia, Croatia, Kosovo as well as to Europe. Despite the fact the Serbia "renounced" the YA today, Serbian politics will not be able to avoid responsibility for the war. If Serbian politics thought seriously at least this one time, then it should condemn the acts of the YA as crimes of war. The solution of the Yugoslav crisis is in the recognition of all republics which have been created in the region of former Yugoslavia, by the CSCE, the UN and other international institutions, on the basis of the principles of these organizations.
