Slovenia applies for U.N. membership

Ljubljana, 6 May - "We expect that the U.N. General Assembly will at its next session in June grant Slovenia U.N. membership by acclamation, without voting," said a spokesman for the Slovene Foreign Ministry in an interview for STA today.
