The Slovenia Forum began in Bled

Bled, 7 May - The Slovenian Forum organized by World Economic Forum (WEF) from Geneva and the Pharos Foundation from Ljubljana was opened today in Bled. It is attended by economists and experts from the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Klaus Schwam, President of WEF cautioned that Slovenia should be careful not to lean on past successes, since it is still the most developed country in Eastern Europe. Serbian Foreign Minister Dr. Vladislav Jovanović and the Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel will not be present at the Slovenian Forum, as was previously announced by the organizers. The new Slovenian Prime Minister and President of Pharos Dr. Janez Drnovšek will address the participants tonight.
