Ljubljana, 25 April - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 26 April:

LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to continue its April session at 9 AM to pass a bill aimed at safeguarding the right to trial in a reasonable time. The session will then be suspended for the May Day holidays and resumed on 3 May. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The government is to meet for its regular weekly session. One of the items on the agenda will be the country's preparations for the EU presidency in 2008. A press conference is scheduled for 1 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Council of Europe's European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), which is on a visit in Slovenia, is to meet at 11 AM Interior Ministry State Secretary Zvonko Zinrajh. A statement for the press is scheduled for 1 PM. (STA)

VIENNA, Austria - The last day of a two-day informal meeting of EU health ministers focusing on diabetes and women's health; Slovenia is represented by Health Minister Andrej Brucan.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Association of Small Shareholders is to present to the press at 11 AM their preparations for the AGM of fuel trader Petrol, and also discuss financing.

VIENNA, Austria - A delegation of the Justice Mnistry, headed by State Secretary Robert Marolt, is to conclude its two-day visit to Vienna.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) is to hold a press conference at 10 AM to deliver their message ahead of Labour Day. ZSSS head Dusan Semolic is to hold a traditional reception at 11 AM.

CIRKOVCE - A ceremony is to mark the 220th anniversary of the primary school in the northeastern village of Cirkovce. Education Minister Milan Zver is also to attend.
