Government Betting on Reforms for Future Economic Success

Ljubljana, 30 April - Slovenia is one of the most economically successful countries to have joined the EU in the most recent round of enlargement in 2004. Among other things, it is expected to become the first of the ten newcomers to join the eurozone, expectedly on 1 January 2007. In order to continue this economic success, Slovenia must now implement reforms, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is convinced.
