Small Hydro Plants Neglected in Search for Renewable Sources
Ljubljana, 30 April - Despite Slovenia's alleged commitment to increasing the share of renewable energy sources, the emergence of new small hydro plants has in the past 15 years been almost completely stalled by cheap electricity and difficulties in acquiring permits, Stane Cadez of the Gorenjska Sava small hydro plants association told STA.
