LJUBLJANA - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec and Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff, Major General Ladislav Lipic are to present the annual report on the readiness of the Slovenian Armed Forces to President Janez Drnovsek at 11 AM. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - German Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck and his Slovenian counterpart Andrej Bajuk are to sign an agreement to avoid double taxation (11:30 AM). Steinbrueck is also expected to be received by President Janez Drnovsek. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to resume and complete its regular April session with a debate of the changes to the general elections act and a resolution on the national transport policy. The session starts at 10 AM, voting around 7:30 PM.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Governor of Austria's Carinthia Joerg Haider is to speak to the press about issues related to the Slovenian minority living in the province, particularly bilingual place signs.

BERLIN, Germany - Foreign Ministry State Secretary Bozo Cerar is attending an international conference on the role the EU and NATO should play in SE Europe. The event is organised by the Marshall Center and the German Foreign Ministry.
