TOPOLSCICA - Minister of Defence Karl Erjavec is to address a ceremony marking 61 years since the capitulation of Nazi Germany; at 7 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Europe Week is to get under way with a number of events culminating on Europe Day, 9 May, and finishing on 12 May.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian capital is to mark the anniversary of the end of WWII with a traditional 35-km hike following the track of the barbed wire which encircled Ljubljana during the war. (PHOTO)
GUSEN, Austria - A Slovenian delegation of ex-internees is to attend a ceremony marking the 61st anniversary of the liberation of the Gusen branch of the Mauthausen concentration camp. They will lay a wreath at the Slovenian memorial plaque.
LJUBLJANA - A new law on collective bargaining agreements enters into force on 6 May, making such agreements no longer obligatory.
NAZARJE - Defending champions Krim Mercator are to play Celeia Zalec in the final of the women's national handball league. The return match begins at 6 PM.
