Ljubljana, 7 May - According to PM Janez Jansa, speaking prior to the second anniversary of the country's joining the EU, Slovenia is the undisputed favourite among the new members of the bloc. German Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck, whose two-day visit to Slovenia yielded a bilateral agreement to avoid double taxation, also praised the country's progress towards the adoption of the euro. Meanwhile, blue chips managed to push the SBI 20 main market index above the 5,000 points.
