LJUBLJANA - PM Janez Jansa is to meet his economic college at 10 AM and leaders of the coalition parties at 3 PM to discuss privatisation, and complete the day with a first meeting of the Development Partnership signatories at 5 PM to discuss reforms. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - Governor of the Bank of Slovenia Mitja Gaspari is to present to the press a report on monetary policy at 11 AM. (STA/PHOTO)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Major General Ladislav Lipic, the Slovenian Armed Forces chief of staff, is to take part in a four-day annual meeting of NATO chiefs of staff. He is expected to speak to the press on the last day of his visit.
LJUBLJANA - The social partners are to resume talks on a 2006-2009 social agreement, and are expected to continue discussing a chapter on employment and labour market. A statement to the press planned after the meeting.
LJUBLJANA - The trade union of education, science and culture (SVIZ) is to present to the press at 11:30 AM a letter addressed to Education Minister Milan Zver and comment some of Zver's recent statements about students' protests.
LJUBLJANA - Plecnik Awards are to be given out for outstanding achievements in architecture at a ceremony scheduled to begin at noon at the National Gallery. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - A first group of a 41-strong line up of the Slovenian motorised contingent is to depart for Kosovo to join the NATO-led Joint Enterprise mission. The rest of the line-up is to follow on Tuesday and Wednesday to replace the unit which travelled to Kosovo in November. Slovenia has 95 soldiers in Kfor.
LJUBLJANA - The 17th anniversary of the "May Declaration", a statement written by an emerging Slovenian opposition which demanded independence for Slovenia.
