Ljubljana, 11 May - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 12 May:
VIENNA, Austria - PM Janez Jansa is to take part in the plenary session at the summit of the EU, Latin American and Caribbean countries. The Slovenian PM is also scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Mexican President Vicente Fox. Jansa is due to address the press at 6:20 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Director General of the European Commission's Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities Nikolaus van der Pas is to visit Slovenia. He is to hold meetings at the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs and the National Assembly.
NOVO MESTO - The Slovenian and Croatian police chiefs, Joze Romsek and Marijan Benko, are to speak to the press at noon following a meeting aimed at discussing the activities of the border and traffic police during the upcoming tourist season.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU affairs committee is to discuss the European Parliament's resolution on EU enlargement as it meets for its weekly session at 2 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for relations with Slovenians abroad is to debate the granting of Slovenian citizenship to Slovenians living abroad as it meets for a session at 9 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Europe Week is to come to an end. On the occasion, Parliament Speaker France Cukjati is to deliver the keynote address at a ceremony scheduled for 9:30 AM.
PORTOROZ - The curtain is to be lowered on the stock market conference dubbed "The Development Opportunities of the Slovenian Capital Market" following a round table on how foreign investors view Slovenia's capital markets (at 11 AM).
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Motorway Company (DARS) is to speak about motorway maintenance plans at a press conference scheduled for 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The results of a national survey on parental experience and views about parenthood are to be presented at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A debate is to be held at 10 AM to debate Turkey's role in international relations, hosted by the Faculty of Social Sciences.
