Ljubljana, 11 May - VEČER: MOTHER COURAGE - In the continuation of the tragedy in Sarajevo, reports have bean heard of hungry and sick people dieing because hospitals lack even most vital medicaments. The war is getting its cruelest form: people will be shooting each other for a crumb of bread, and speculations will be justified by all possible interpretations of Darwin's theories on natural selection and other such dim-wittedness, which Brecht had once put in dramatic form. His Mother Courage, writes Dragica Korade, needs a war to survive, which is no more than a business opportunity in which one can sell lead as well as cheese.
