PEKRE - A ceremony marking 15 years since what has become known as "the Pekre incident", the first clash between the emerging Slovenian army and the Yugoslav People's Army, which claimed the first civilian victim, is to be addressed by PM Janez Jansa at 5:30 PM (STA).
VACE - The Association of War for Slovenia Veterans is to stage a ceremony marking the association's day, with Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic as the keynote speaker. The ceremony starts at 10:00 AM.
MARIBOR/LJUBLJANA/KOPER - Representatives of EU nations and the Slovenian government are to take a train from the city of Maribor via Ljubljana to the coastal city of Koper, a two-day project launched by the ruling SDS to mark the 2nd year in the EU.
AARHUS, Denmark - Slovenian women's handball champions Krim are to chase a two-goal deficit in the return leg of the Champions League final against Denmark's Viborg. The match begins at 7:15 PM. (STA)
BOVEC - An exhibition on 2,800 years of iron industry in the Julian Alps, co-funded by the Office of the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO and the Hessen-Slovenian Association from Germany's Wiesbaden, is to open at 7 PM at Trenta Hut, the info point of the Triglav National Park.
