Ljubljana, 27 May - Although the parliament passed several major pieces of legislation this week, and the students staged yet another protest rally, the spotlight was on a long-running story involving the purchase of 18 operating tables for five Slovenian hospitals. After a failed public tender, a company surprised, and caused controversy, by offering to deliver the two million euros worth of operating tables at no cost to taxpayers.
