Judges Oppose Fixed-Term Judicial Tenure
Ljubljana, 23 May - The Judicial Council is opposed to the Justice Ministry's idea for fixed-term judicial tenure as a means of tackling court backlogs. The proposed constitutional changes to that effect are not an appropriate measure, the consultative body said in Tuesday's press release.
