Ljubljana, 29 May - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 30 May:

MOSCOW, Russia - As part of his visit to Russia, Prime Minister Janez Jansa is to meet the Partiarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Alexei II (11 AM), Parliament Speaker Boris Gryzlov (5 PM), and the Chairman of the Council of the Federation Sergey Mironov (6:30 PM). He is also expected to open a Russian-Slovenian business conference at 2 PM and. FM Dimitrij Rupel is meanwhile scheduled to speak with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov (6:30 PM), while Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is expected to meet CEO of gas giant Gazprom Alexei Miller (11 AM). LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is scheduled to meet representatives of rebel groups from Darfur that failed to sign a peace deal brokered by the African Union earlier this month. The meeting between Drnovsek and representatives of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) and a fraction of the Sudanese Liberation Movement (SLM) will try to find a solution that would allow the rebel groups to sign the peace deal.

LJUBLJANA - The National Assembly is to continue its regular May session, scheduled to begin at 9 AM.
