BRDO PRI KRANJU - Migration flows in the Mediterranean are to be discussed at a two-day conference organised by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development, together with Europol and Frontex. The opening address by FM Dimitrij Rupel at 11 AM. (STA)
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - EU finance ministers are expected to give Slovenia the go-ahead to become the 13th member of the eurozone on 1 January 2007 as they meet for the last session under Austria's EU presidency. Slovenia's Minister Andrej Bajuk to attend.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to travel to Brussels to attend a meeting of his counterparts from NATO and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, which finishes on Thursday.
LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic and Prevent CEO Joze Kozmus are to sign a contract on the use of the infrastructure of Maribor airport at 3 PM. The airport is owned by Prevent. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - Supervisors of the the National Farmland and Forest Fund are to meet at 10 AM after the Court of Audits has recently established that around EUR 7m was misused in 2003 and 2004. A statement to the press is expected after the session.
LJUBLJANA - A panel is to discuss the potential to invest in Serbia. The event which begins at 9 AM is organised by U.S. Steel Serbia in association with the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS).
LJUBLJANA - Higher education reforms are to be discussed at a forum at 3 PM which is organised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and the Jozef Stefan Institute, the country's leading research institute.
PORTOROZ - Days of Public Law and Public Sector are to get under way at 11 AM. The three-day event is organised by the Institute of Public Administration at the Ljubljana Faculty of Law.
LJUBLJANA - The Society of Exiles of Slovenia 1941 - 1945 is to celebrate the Day of Slovenian Exiles with an 11 AM ceremony which will also mark the society's 15th anniversary. President Janez Drnovsek will be one of the key-note speakers. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - Union Olimpija and Geoplin Slovan are to play the game which will decide the champion of the national basketball league. While Slovan have never won the title, Olimpija have bagged as many as 12 in the 15-year history of the league. The match begins at 8 PM. (STA/PHOTO)
LJUBLJANA - The SNG Drama National Theatre is to present the upcoming guest appearances by two Serbian theatre houses, namely the Yugoslav Theatre and Atelje 212 at a news conference scheduled for noon.
LJUBLJANA - The collection of papers "Writing Literary History - Selected Perspectives from Central Europe" by the Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Science to be launched at noon by the Institute of Slovenian Literature and Literary Sciences.
