LJUBLJANA - Ahead of its 15th anniversary, STA is to release a background about the agency's development and an interview with STA general manager Lidija Pavlovcic and editor-in-chief Nadja Podobnik. (STA/PHOTO)

STRUNJAN - PM Janez Jansa is to meet the chairman of the Russian oil company Gazprom's management Alexey Miller at 9 AM to discuss Slovenia and the region's development potential in energy. (STA/PHOTO)

LJUBLJANA, MARIBOR.... - Over 50 museums and galleries are to join in a traditional Museum Summer Night, an open house day designed to attract visitors to their exhibitions and around 130 accompanying events to he held throughout the day and night in more than 10 cities and towns around the country.

LJUBLJANA - A rally in support of the autonomous cultural centre Metelkova mesto is to be staged in the old town at noon. The alternative arts complex is facing a threat of demolition.

APACE - A protest rally is to be staged by a group representing Slovenian citizens working in Austria against Slovenia's system of income tax. Director of Slovenia's Tax Administration (DURS) Ivan Simic is to attend the rally.

THESSALONIKI, Greece - The Slovenian track team is to compete in the premiere league of European Athletics Cup. As part of the two-day event, Slovenian track star Jolanda Ceplak is to make her comeback to the track following a serious heel injury.
