MONDAY, 26 June
LJUBLJANA - A Schengen evaluation commission is to begin a three-day visit to see if Slovenia is prepared for controlling border crossing at airports.
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Emigrants Society (SIM) is to present the 50th gathering of Slovenian emigrants from around the world it is organising on 2 July in the town of Bohinj.
WARSAW, Poland - Speaker of the National Assembly France Cukjati is to attend the 6th regional conference of parliamentary speakers from Slovenia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland with their counterparts from Bulgaria and Romania.
LJUBLJANA - Together with the director of the Human Rights Institute Ludwig Boltzmann Hannes Tretter, Slovenian Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to present a project dubbed "Let's Face Discrimination"

HOLMEC - The central ceremony marking Police Day, to be attended by Interior Minister Dragutin Mate, the chief of Slovenian Police Joze Romsek and PM Janez Jansa as honorary speaker.
