Busek: the Church plays an important role in setting the spiritual foundations of Europe

Ljubljana, 17 May - The role of the Church is not to engage in politics, but is in the building of a unified Europe important as a moral entity, said Austrian Vice Chancellor Erhard Busek at the end of today's meeting of representatives of Christian Democratic Parties from Central Europe at which they discussed relations between the Church and politics and the political development of Slovenia. Beside the President of Slovenian Christian Democrats the meeting was attended by leaders of sister parties from CSR and Hungary.
