Modernisation of Radiation Monitoring Network Complete
Ljubljana, 28 June - The Environmental Agency (ARSO) and the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration (SNSA) have completed a project to modernise the system for monitoring atmospheric radiation. The 18 existing radiation meters have been joined by 35 new ones. The project was part of the European PHARE project and cost over EUR 735,000, one fifth of which was covered by the state.
