Deal Struck on Bilingual Signs in Carinthia
Klagenfurt, 29 June - The Austrian People's Party (OeVP), the Alliance for Austria's Future (BZOe), the Association of Slovenian Organisations (ZSO) and the Association of Carinthian Slovenians (SKS) reached an agreement on Thursday on resolving the bilingual signs issue in the Austrian province of Carinthia by putting up German-Slovenian signs in 141 towns and villages. The deal has already sparked controversy.
