Bajuk Rejects Mesic's Proposal on Settling LB Debt
Ljubljana, 30 June - Slovenian Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk has rejected a proposal by Croatian President Stipe Mesic on solving the issue of the foreign currency debt of the Slovenian bank Ljubljanska banka (LB) to Croatian savers, claiming that the issue is a part of the succession agreement, also signed by Croatia.
