DPZ breaks off debate on refugee assistance
Ljubljana, 20 May - At today's continuation of its 38th session, the Sociopolitical Chamber of the Slovenian Assembly considered in draft form a proposal for the passing of a law on a special contribution of solidarity in aid of refugees. Following the introductory speech in Ljubljana by the representative of the UN High Commission for Refugees, Ms Michele Voyer, and after her response to delegates' questions, the debate was broken off and adjourned until tomorrow because the Chamber was not quorate.
