Talks Between Croatian side and UNPROFOR in Split
Split, 22 May - Yesterday, at the suggestion of General Nambiar, the commander of the Croatian Navy, Admiral Sveto Letica and the deputy commander of UNPROFOR, Philippe Morillon, held talks at the military port of Lora near Split. The talks centered around the establishment of a cease-fire along the south sector, the placing of the UN peace keeping forces in this region and on instaling a Croatian authority control over the regions with predominantly Croatian population which are at present under the YA occupation.
