Cutting Workers' Rights Will Not Help the Economy, Union Says

Ljubljana, 8 August - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS) insists that the reduction of workers' rights will not improve competitiveness. The employers' and Labour Ministry's opinion that the reduction of rights will further the Slovenian economy is wrong, ZSSS president Dusan Semolic said at Tuesday's press conference. Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic already rejected the claims.
