Ljubljana, 27 November - The Liberal Democratic Party of Slovenia (LDS) asserted itself at the first half of its mandate after the last parliamentary elections as the leading ruling party, and proved that it can lead the state and conquer the crisis, Prime Minister and leader of the party Janez Drnovšek said on Sunday at the central convention of the party before the local elections on December 4.
