Slovenia Backs Amendment on Associated Partnership at the WEU Assembly

Participants of the 40th session of the Western European Union Assembly (WEU) in Paris discussed a report, entitled "European Security Policy" on Monday. Member of the Slovene delegation to the session, member of the Slovene parliament Borut Pahor, stated for the Slovene Press Agency that this was important for Slovenia, since the recommendation to the Council of Ministers in point six said that "the possibilities should be examined whether there are conditions for Slovenia to receive the status of associated partner" to the WEU Assembly.
