Ljubljana, 4 September - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 5 September:

POTSDAM, Germany - The conclusion of the first conference of Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) labour and employment ministers, entitled "More and Better Jobs - Working Jointly to Strengthen the Social Dimension of Globalisation". Slovenia's Labour, Family and Social Affairs Minister Janez Drobnic is to be at hand.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Mediators of Slovenia is to hold its maiden meeting as 4 PM. The association wants to develop, carry out and promote mediation and other alternative methods of settling disputes. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's largest trade unions are to present their reasons for an upcoming protest against the changes to the employment relationship act at a joint news conference at 10 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The association of tax consultants is to present at 2 PM their views on the tax reform that was recently unveiled by the Finance Ministry. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana mayor candidate Zoran Jankovic is to present his programme at a press conference scheduled for at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The five-day meteorology conference of the European Meteorological Society is to continue. The event will begin at 8:30 AM.

BELGRADE, Serbia - Slovenia is to play its last group B match at the European Water Polo Championships. The game against Croatia is to kick off at 10 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A news conference will be held at 11 AM to present an exhibition featuring 30 artists from Central and Eastern Europe whose works deal with social and political change related to totalitarianism. "The Essence of Life - The Essence of Art" was curated by Jadran Adamovic.

LJUBLJANA - A retrospective of modern Slovenian Architecture, entitled "Construction Site Slovenia", is to open its doors at 8 PM. The exhibition, initiated by the Berlin Art Academy, will present 23 buildings, built in the last decade.
