Drnovšek: The Italians Will Have To Decide

Ljubljana, 29 November - SLOVENIA/ITALY/DRNOVŠEK
Slovenia meets all conditions for the associate membership in the European Union as well as some conditions for the full membership, and will no longer negotiate prior to every meeting of the EU Council of Ministers. Henceforth the Italians and others in the EU will have to decide, stressed Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, currently also in charge of foreign affairs, at a news conference on Tuesday.
