President Kučan at the WEU Assembly on Slovene Views on Security in Europe

Slovenia would regard it as a historic injustice and unjustified discrimination if the door to the European Union were closed to it. Slovenia also rightly regard as an injustice the persistent blocking on the part of Italy of the beginning of negotiations between Slovenia and the European Union on associate membership, said Slovene President Milan Kučan addressing the Western European Union (WEU) Assembly on Tuesday in Paris.
