Ljubljana, 8 September - Buoyed by domestic consumption, gross domestic product (GDP) grew at a rate of 4.9% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2006, down slightly from 5.1% in the first quarter of the year, according to preliminary data by the National Statistical Office.
