Bajuk Pledges no VAT Increase in 2007
Ljubljana, 20 September - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk has pledged that the government would not increase the value added tax (VAT) in 2007, however, could not rule out a possible later increase, as he met senior officials from Slovenia's largest retailer Mercator and fuel trader Petrol in separate meetings on Wednesday.
