NEW YORK, US - As part of his ten-day visit to the US Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel will be attending a ceremony marking the 90th anniversary of the Slovenian Church of St. Cyril in New York.
MARIBOR - The curtain is to be lowered on the three-day Danube Rectors Conference at which the participant are discussing "The Lisbon Strategy - the Role of Universities and the Competitiveness of the Danube Region".
SKOFJA LOKA - The Slovenian Days of European Cultural Heritage are to kick off with a rich historical and cultural programme in one of Slovenia's oldest towns.
LJUBLJANA - The first international congress dealing with deaf-blind persons is to take place in the Slovenian capital. Participants are to be addressed by President Janez Drnovsek, Cveto Ursic; the head of the directorate for the disabled at the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs; and Ljubljana Mayor Danica Simsic. Gets underway at 9:30 AM.
