LJUBLJANA - The regular session of parliament resumes at 9 AM with a debate on the amendments to the road safety act, the minimum wage bill, the second reading of the government-sponsored wine bill and changes to the 2006 and 2007 budget implementation act.
PORTOROZ - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to present the preparations for the informal meeting of NATO defence ministers taking place in Portoroz on Thursday and Friday; at 1:30 PM.
NEW HAVEN, US - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to deliver a lecture at Yale University as part of his visit to the US.
LJUBLJANA - The programming council of RTV Slovenija is to vote on the endorsement of a new statute for the public broadcaster. The session starts at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present a brochure outlining Slovenia's candidacy for the supervisory authority of the EU's Galileo satellite navigation system.
SEPULJE NA KRASU - The Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) and the food company Kras are to speak about the state of the food industry in Slovenia at a press conference at 12:15 PM.
NOVO MESTO - A panel titled "The Future of Multicultural Societies", organised by the Association for the Development of Volunteering and the Peace Institute, is to get underway at 6 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The organisers of the City of Women (2-10 October) are to present the programme of this year's festival at 1 PM.
