Birth Rate in Slovenia Decreasing in Past 100 Years
Ljubljana, 29 September - While the annual birth rate in Slovenia in the 18th century still hovered between 34 and 26 births per 1,000 people, it started to drop steadily at the end of the 19th century with the trend still continuing, shows a study on the birth rate in Slovenia for the period between the 18th to 21st century released by the Statistical Office on Friday.
