Ljubljana, 31 May - Despite the multitude of events in May, the chronologists and analysts of the developments in and around Slovenia will find no difficulty in choosing the most important item of news of the month. In May, Slovenia became a member of the United Nations; the war in Bosnia and Hercegovina continued and even spilled over this republic's borders, which triggered off the U.N. resolution on strong economic and diplomatic sanctions against Serbia and Montenegro, since there is no longer any doubt as to who is responsible for the suffering of the inhabitants of Bosnia and Hercegovina.
