PRESS REVIEW FROM SLOVENIA, JUNE 4, 1992

Ljubljana, 4 June - VEČER: EUROPE WAS SHOCKED - Architects of a new world super-power Europe have been shocked by the results of the Danish referendum. Only 0.8% of voters have had a decisive influence on the European Community which was put a few years back in the process of establishing an integration which could compete with the USA and determine the economic development of the world. According to Slavko Vizovišek, that was a dangerous sign to Britain, where the opposition strives for the same goals, and to Ireland, whose voters are the next to vote in a referendum. Some hesitation has been shown even in France which can be proved by Mitterand's decision to held a referendum.
