Rupel: Hungarian Uprising Contributed to Downfall of Communism
Budapest, 23 October - Participating in a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Hungarian anti-Soviet uprising on Monday, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said that the events in Hungary contributed to undermining the then Communist system, which proved to "only be free in words".
